Pass HARP 3. This will allow responsible homeowners w/o FannieMae/FreddieMac backed loans to refi to the current rates.

This petition is to promote the passing of a HARP 3 that will allow those of us not fortunate enough to have Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae backed mortgages to refinance to the current HARP rates. So many are left behind because their banks have held or not sold their mortgages to others. This will target those who have remained current on their payments and just want to have the benefit of the savings in the reduction of the interest rates. So many are in negative equity situations, but this would allow a rate adjustment without forgiveness of liability on the property value.
