Pass Harp 3

Created by W.M. on February 19, 2014

In 2005 we purchased our second home in California at the peak of the market. My husband (a Roofing Contractor) and I (a High School Admin. Asst) found a home that fit the criteria we hoped for: a house that was in the best neighborhood we could afford, and most importantly, offered a sense of community with neighbors who looked out for one another. We found our home a 4 bedroom 3 bath, 2,450 sq ft which needed some work and priced at an astronomical (for us) $720,000. We used our equity from out first home for the downpayment and repairs.Since 2008 our home has lost nearly 30% in value my husband's business of 30 years took a loss and we had to get a modification-stressful our credit was excellent until this and it is not a Fanny Mae of Freddy Mac. We need the Harp 3 to go pass.
