The current laws do not adequately cover child related crimes. Probation does not resonably deter people from commiting these crimes on children. 24 children killed in cars from heat this year and 33 last year. Rape, molestation, physical abuse, murder are common place these days. This is because our current laws do not punish the crimes effectively. Crimes against our children should be the harshest punishments on the books. No plea bargain, no probation, No freedoms, for people who commit these crimes. Zero excuses. Children killed in cars from heat should receive Life in Prison No parole, and No second chance.
