pass immediate legislation to get guns off the streets of the United States in memory of the children at Sandy Hook.

We need to stop the violence in our country. We need to be able to protect our vulnerable little children. We need to feel safe on our own streets. There are too many guns available and too many laws protecting gun rights. Our forefathers did not have this in mind when they wrote the Constitution, nor could they have foreseen the dysfunction a lack of gun controls has caused. We need to talk about gun control but more than that we need to have action. In memory of all the children and school staff who tried to protect them at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtow, NY we need to band together and work toward a more rational future for our children.
