Dogs considered 'aggressive' simply based on their breed is discrimination. Not only against the animal itself, but also the owner. Aggressive breed rules prevent owners from renting a home or apartment, living in a certain area, and sometimes higher insurance rates. There are far more Pit Bulls that live long and happy lives versus a poorly raised attack dog. Smaller dogs such as Pomeranians, Chihuahuas, and Dachshunds will nip more frequently than an 'aggressive breed'. Dogs are loyal animals, and usually part of the family. To allow band against family members because of what kind of dog they are is wrong. Please help change this for all of Americans.
