Pass a law allowing students the right to defend themselves when they are physically assaulted by another student.

Created by M.B. on March 05, 2013

Students who are physically assaulted by other students get the same punishments as the bullies who attack them. Self defense should not punishable in our school systems or our daily lives. If a student is being physically attacked by another student, they should have the right as a human being to defend themselves or fight back. A lot of our schools have started anti-bullying programs, which are great, but sometimes a speech and a pamphlet doesn't protect our kids from a physical attack. Students who bully other students with their words are bad enough, but when it turns physical, a Student should and must be allowed to fight back and defend themselves against physical harm without the threat of suspension or expulsion from School.
