We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

to pass a law banning former members of congress and their staff from becoming lobbyists once leaving office.

Created by J.Y. on November 13, 2016

Our elected congressional delegation has conflict of interest through their interaction with special interest lobby firms. This places the American voter at a disadvantage and raises the perception that our elected representatives put the special interest lobby above that of the people's interests. Our elected representatives are using their inside knowledge for their personal benefit. Our elected representatives have a duty to the people first not the special interests that benefit from lobbying efforts. We the people demand congress make the hard choices and put the interests of those who sent them to congress.
