The act of lobbying politicians allows for corruption in government. It is too easy for a multi-million dollar company or someone with a large surplus of money to make a charitable contribution to a politician in exchange for help to get a law passed benefiting no one other than the lobbyist. The only one who benefits from this act is the politician who gets the contribution and the lobbyist paying the politician. A large portion of the time this act only results in putting a financial or economical strain on the citizens of this country.
