Many ex-felons of non-violent crimes, are finding it difficult to become employed and to provide for their families. Already having paid the price of incarceration, to be released from jail or prison, to only find themselves back behind bars because they cannot obtain a job, is not what this country stands for; freedom and democracy. Many ex-felons who have obtained their degrees, are unable to get a high paying job and are forced to take jobs that pay below or just above the minimum wages, to put food on their table and provide shelter for their family. Society is punishing those few who have turned their lives around, by telling them how much money they can make and which job they can apply for. This is inhumane, and a violation of their Civil Rights and Amendments of the Constitution.
