Pass a law limiting all public office terms to one term for life.

Created by D.A. on January 30, 2014

I propose that all public office positions which are subject to election by public vote have the following restrictions:

1) Candidates may only occupy one office of government in their lifetime, whether county, city, state, federal and or etc.
2) All lengths of public offices subject to public vote will retain their current terms limits.
3) All current public officials will remain in office under their current tenure. Afterwards, they will no longer be able to run for any publicly voted positions in their lifetime.
4) The respective government in which the public appointment by public vote is held for will provide the venues and absorb the costs for candidates to promote their candidacy, debate, and do as required by law and the people.
