Pass a law limiting all public office terms to one term one office for life.

Created by D.A. on August 18, 2014

I propose a Constitutional amendment that all public office positions which are subject to election by public vote have the following restrictions:

1) Candidates may only occupy one office of government in their lifetime, whether county, city, state, federal and or etc.

2) All lengths of public offices subject to public vote will retain their current terms limits.

3) All current public officials will remain in office under their current tenure. Afterwards, they will be allowed to run one more time before become ineligible for life.

4) The respective government in which the public appointment by public vote is held for will provide the venues and absorb the costs for candidates to
promote their candidacy, debate, and do as required by law and the people.
