Pass a Law that a military personnel that abandon their spouse and children should be penalized.

My mother's ex-husband abandon my mother,my siblings and myself on a military base.We were left homeless without any food and money.He left the military with all the money. Now he is Veteran,he gave his girlfriend my mother's identity to collect the V.A.benenfits that is entitleto mother since she was married to him over ten years and have four children with him and she fall under the Uniform Services Former Spouses Protection ActandtheDomesticViolenceAct,sincehephysicalabusemy mother.My mother did her part in the military,by volunteering and being active in the PTA at the schools that my siblings attend.90%soldiers abandon their spouses and children and leave them on the streets without any money,foodanda placeto live.We need to make a law protecting miltary spouses and military children.
