Recently people have begun to create petitions requesting permission for their state to "peacefully secede from the union." As we all know this a ridiculous idea, mainly because it would only be a detriment to the United States and the state requiting to secede. People would have to carry a passport when they traveled from one state to another, states would have to spend millions of dollars on building immigration centers for each road and rail line that connects from state to state. Just because a small percentage of sore losers want to secede, doesn't mean they can flood this website with their ridiculous ideas.
