In our increasingly computerized world many companies and organizations maintain databases containing our personal information. Remembering and organizing these accounts is increasingly difficult or impossible. We should require that these groups send a yearly e-mail reminder with information for deleting our accounts/membership, updating information, or updating security information and passwords. This would require minimum effort on the part of those groups and would allow consumers to be better informed of who has access to their information.
