Pass a law that will allow people with record felonies over fifteen years old to become employed.

President Obama should pass a law that will allow people with felony records to be able to get jobs if the felony is over ten years old. There are many people with felony records that are falsely accused and cannot gain employment because when the felony background report is ran the even if the applicant explains that they have a criminal record, they are denied. The law should stipulate that an employer cannot check further than ten years. If a person has paid their debt to "society" by imprisonment or probation, they should not continually be denied employment, this will decrease unemployment and violence. Many felons stay in trouble with the law because they cannot get a job.
