Address the miscarriage of justice involving rape prosecutions by making rape a federal offense punishable by absolutely no less than 20 years in prison and no more than life imprisonment. Also, make accessory to rape a federal offense punishable by absolutely no less than 15 years and no more than 50 years in prison. Juveniles age 16 and older should be tried as adults, incarcerated in juvenile facilities until 21, and transferred to prison thereafter. This applies to all forms of rape as well as any form of sexual abuse on any person of any age whatsoever.
It is time that we as a civilized nation take a much firmer stand against this vicious crime. The message must be clear. The United States of America will no longer take a soft hand on sexual crime.
