Keep children who are learning to walk safe in their daycare centers by modifying rooms for toddlers who are pulling to standing and starting to walk to reduce injuries. We don't know how many children each year suffer minor concussions which go undiagnosed after hitting their heads. Concussion diagnosis depends a great deal on a patient telling us their symptoms which can include changes in emotion, thinking, sleep and physical symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, balance problems and vision changes. Small children simply can't tell us how they're feeling. It's up to us to take all the precautions we can at home and day care centers to prevent falls and concussions.
