It is time to take real action to change our society. The ability to obtain semi-automatic handguns and assault rifles only creates suffering and violence.
The founding fathers of our nation embraced the "right to bear arms" but could not have envisioned the changes in technology and the social changes that have occurred since that time. The "right to bear arms" has been distorted to allow too many people to own weapons that have no business being used outside of the military or law enforcement.
We urge that legislative action be taken to address this by banning completely the sale of semi-automatic handguns and assault rifles.
