Changing the wording for Medicare from Physician to Provider will allow for Nurse Practitioners to have equal opportunity to provide equal care for equal pay to all patients. This does not change laws requiring a collaboration with a physician, only allows to Nurse Practitioner to have a broader clientele and to help better match duties/responsibilities/reimbursement with education/experience/need.
