pass legislation ending the practice of granting lifetime pensions and health care to members of congress.

Created by U.I. on September 25, 2011

At present members of Congress enjoy lifetime pensions and health care even after having served only one term. Having Representatives limited to the same options as the American people, Social Security and Medicare, would cut down on government expenditures and be a step toward creating greater parity between the American people and their elected officials.
