Because of the fact that most Americans are only ever exposed to two viewpoints during the presidential debates, many don't realize that there is a better option out there that fits their positions and belief systems. In this new age of advanced technology, we are constantly bombarded with information, but a stark lack of information is presented to us about the minor party candidates, which creates a catch 22 wherein the major 2 parties perpetually gain more and more power to prevent other parties from arising around dissenting factions. This is bad for democracy, and bad for the future of America.
