Pass legislation to give Gay or Lesbian military spouses the same benefits, e.g. health insurance, as heterosexual ones.

Created by J.H. on January 04, 2013

Despite the repeal of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell', the Department of Defense still does not recognize same-sex spouses as they would be were they the opposite sex. This means that they are not eligible for health care benefits nor being stationed abroad with their spouse, among other disadvantages.
This means that the DoD is still making it difficult for gay men and women to serve in the military.
