Pass legislation that increases funding for education and prevents the school day from starting unhealthily early

Many schools across the nation actually begin the school day before sunrise. Countless credible studies have proven that this is extremely injurious to students' health and development.
The problem can be easily fixed by giving more funding to education on a national and local level to be used for more buses. Each district can then have a fleet for each level and elementary, middle and high school days can begin and end at the same time districtwide. For the sake of the health and development of America's future, our children, please sign this petition to put more funding into our schools earmarked for buses and bus drivers' salaries and pass legislation forbidding schools from starting the day later than 8:00 a.m.
