Pass legislation that invalidates an election result if the undervote on a specific issue or position exceeds 50%

This would allow the voters to say no or try again on candidates and issues that are not acceptable to the majority of voters. By allowing actual voters to reject an issue or group of candidates, voters have another option to vote their conscience on a ballot. This would also force policymakers and political parties to present issues and candidates that are acceptable to the majority of the electorate instead of only small, vocal, well-heeled factions of the population.
