Too often in recent memory, the American people have had to face "Government Shut-downs" due to funding or other relevant issues. This is unacceptable. We ask that Congress not falter in this way again, and enact proper funding schedules to keep all government offices, functions, and services to The People operating at all times. Congress should not adjourn for extended periods or go on vacation during such operational crises. Members of Congress should act, and not assist in the creation of desperation amongst American citizens. Please create legislation to prevent any and all future government shut-downs, while keeping all Federal employees properly paid. Our government even threatening a shut-down is not only a disservice, it's an embarrassment to the whole nation.
