This bill would set aside money much like the Cash For Clunkers program and give an incentive for firearms owners to purchase gun safes that may have been out of their reach financially. This could be a subsidized check to the manufacture, dealer or end user or allow a tax credit to be applied by the purchaser when filing annually.
