The mental health of America's Children is at stake. Over 70% of children and adolescents no not receive treatment for their mental health issues. By passing the Mental Health in Schools Act of 2013, it would allow children across the United States to receive free on-site mental health services at their local public schools. The bill would provide $200 million in competitive $1 million grants. This would allow public schools to educate existing employees, as well as hire licensed mental health professionals for full time services.
