PASS A PAID PARENTAL LEAVE ACT to decrease the gender pay gap, improve parent-child relationships, and other benefits.

Created by D.C. on December 28, 2015

Currently, the United States is the only industrialized country in the world that does not guarantee paid parental leave.

In addition to decreasing the gender pay gap and improving parent-child relationships, this act will:
-reduce infant mortality
-increase the likelihood of infants getting well-baby care visits and vaccinations
-increase the rate and duration of breast-feeding
-ensure job-protected and paid leave after the birth of a child
-reduce severe depression and improvement in mothers' mental health

and many more benefits.
