DOMA was and is unconstitutional. Now that the Supreme Court has struck down Section 3 of the act, it is time, after 3+ years, to pass the RFMA. We need to live up to the true meaning of our nation's creed: "One Nation, Under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for ALL". Not all of one certain group, but all of us. The bill should allow the government to recognize marriages as the states define it, while not forcing states to go out of their own will(s). Recognizing same sex marriages in the 12 (soon to be 13) states (and DC) will help move our country forward towards a more open, equal, fair state for all our people.
