I am proposing legislation to be passed called the "S.L.A.M. Grief Act" (Silent Losses Among Mothers), giving parents the option to have a death certificate issued in their child's name after a miscarriage, regardless of gestational age. In addition, I am proposing that attending medical staff notify both parents of in-person or online grief support services.
