Pass the SPEAK FREE Act (H.R.2304).

Created by S.B. on March 21, 2016

Pass the SPEAK FREE Act (H.R.2304), introduced by Representative Blake Farenthold on May 13, 2015, co-sponsored with bipartisan support, to protect plaintiffs from frivolous lawsuits which are intended to harass plaintiffs, by draining them of financial resources and wasting everyone's time, and silencing critics from their 1st Amendment right to free speech.

The Bill was introduced last year, and hasn't yet passed the House. It was endorsed by a variety of organizations, including AOL, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and Yelp. We are calling upon the Government to hasten the SPEAK FREE Act into law, so that free speech isn't just guaranteed in theory, but also in practice.
