Pass Stronger Legislation on Child Labor in Agriculture

Children are allowed to work from age 12 and onward in an agricultural setting, as long as they have parent permission, or they work on the same farm as their parent(s). They can work long hours, provided it isn't during school hours. This is a double standard, as working in any other setting requires the child to be 16 or older. This means a child can work long hours in a field four years before they can work in an air-conditioned office. There needs to be an update to the legislation that governs how children are allowed to work in agriculture.
