Climate change is a real (I repeat, real) and existential threat to America and the planet. For the sake of the planet and the survival of our species, all options to combating this issue must by on the table. One option to help combat climate change is to institute a tax on carbon consumption. Doing this will drive down the use of fossil fuels and push us toward using more environmentally friendly energy production methods, including wind and solar.
