Guns are killing innocent people throughout the U.S. and something needs to be done to stop it. I would like these actions to be taken to prevent future mass shootings.
1. All guns not in use must be locked with a trigger lock and locked in a gun safe.
2. Ban assault rifles, extended magazines and bullet proof vests for those not in law enforcement/security industry or require special permit for purchase.
3. Ban all speedloading devices.
4. End gun show loophole.
I create this petition for all families who have suffered due to gun violence. Many law abiding citizens have abdicated their responsibility for too long by making their guns easily accessible to criminals and the mentally disturbed. If they cannot be responsible for their firearms, we must take action in their place.
