Military Spouse are at great risk for legal abandonment by their service member spouse in the following areas:
Housing money fraud. The DoD regulations state that no Commander can order a soldier to provide the tax -free housing money taken on behalf of a spouse. This is opposite of the UCMJ ,where a soldier must support their family.
Commanders tell a spouse "this is a civil matter",the Civil Courts tell a spouse" we cant help you,due to the revised Civil Relief Act.
