A lot of H1B visa holders face the difficulty in continuing staying in the U.S. after 6 years period. Many of them are talented and down-to-earth. They work hard to support their families and contribute his/her talents and enthusiasm to the company and the community. But because of the regulations and subordinated position,H1B visa holders have to trade him/herself to the company with the hope of the company's sponsor of Green Card. It is not fair for H1B visa holders. I advocate a pathway of self-application of Green Card for H1B visa holders who have good record (at least 3 years) of credit, taxes, driving, stabled income and family connections in the U.S. H1B visa holders' rights of permanent living in a democracy and freedom country, America, shouldn't be deprived !
