Patient Ratio Vs Arizona

Created by T.L. on April 12, 2016

Arizona currently does not have a mandated Certified Nursing Assistant patient ratio. The patient ratio can be as high as 15:1. Facilities are paid by state programs such as Medicaid, Veterans' Pensions, State and Non-Medicaid Programs.
These programs were designed to ensure that individuals with health care disabilities would be cared for; or rehabilitated. The patient ratio {15:1} does not allow this. The patients do not get the care that is guaranteed by healthcare facilities. The patient ratio, more than 8 is unrealistic. Due to this unrealistic patient’s ratio: the patients are not cared for in a dignified manner. I demand a change in the patient ratio in the State of Arizona. “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them for this is the Law and the Prophets."
