Now this being free society, you obviously can’t force someone to vote, that goes against what we stand for as a nation, however if you were to offer and individual another incentive than say a politicians promise, like a monetary one then you just might get somewhere. If you were to offer the average blue collar worker, say $50 to cast a vote, they would see that as free money and gladly take scroll to the polls. This of course would not motivate everyone but it would most certainly get more of the population represented.
If we were to take 5% of every campaign donation just for the sake of giving it back for voter turnout we would significantly reduce or even completely pay for the payouts.
