Social security payments are staggered over different dates of the month,causing many Social Security recipients to be late on their mortgage,rent or other payments due on the 1st of every month. If all Recipients were paid on the 3rd,instead of staggered dates,many seniors and Disabled Americans would save late fees every month and have more funds available for living expenses,keeping more of their fellow Americans employed.This move would save money and also act as a small stimulus where the money would be spent in the local economy instead of being applied to late fees for banks and landlords.
