The government was designed to be a representation of the people, for the people, by the people. To often, elected officials abuse their position and act out of self-serving, narcissistic motivation, rather than working toward the common good of the country.
Failing to pass an annual federal budget is inexcusable. Passing legislation that effects everyone, yet is opposed by nearly 70%, like the current healthcare act, is inexcusable. Recklessly spending countless taxpayer dollars on personal entertainment is inexcusable. The federal government cannot ignore the impact that their decisions will have on this and future generations.
It is our demand that our elected officials exercise wisdom and sound moral judgement in all decisions impacting our America.
