The House of Representatives and Congress should be paid minimum wage. Also, revoke life pay of past lawmakers, instead military benefits. This way, the military members and families will no longer suffer pay and benefits cuts. Make a law where lawmakers decide how much lawmakers get paid, that way, if they do well, they'll get paid more. If not, they stay at minimum wage, and people that really have the interests of the people in mind will work, and not just for the pay.
