Being that Congress is the voice of the people, and the people are federally mandated to make $7.25 an hour by Congress, by law, the should create no law that they are exempt from What is good enough for the people is good enough for Congress. PAY CONGRESS THE MINIMUM WAGE, AND NO MORE!
Secondly, to insure that Congress is only making the minimum wage set forth by Congress, no outside contributions to any member of Congress may be accepted without 1) full disclosure of where the contribution comes from and a statement as to it's intended purpose, and 2) a full detail as to where, when, why and how this contribution was made. Any discrepancy between the two shall be considered illegal and punishable in a court of law.
