Per the U.S. NATIONAL DEBT CLOCK , the Outstanding Public Debt was nearly $16.5 Trillion Dollars, as of January 2013. The National Debt has continued to increase an average of $3.83 billion per day since September 2007. Each citizen's share of this debt is $52,341.93.
This is a national security issue. The President and Congress must work together NOW to address our excessive spending before our country fails and falls. This means cutting entitlements, raising taxes, and passing balanced budgets.
The American people work hard to pay their bills while living within our means... Our leadership in Washington must do the same, before it's too late. Our country and our children are depending on our responsible fiscal behavior. Now is the time for leadership in Washington.
