To pay the enlisted men and woman who serve honorably in the United States military higher salaries.

Created by S.J. on November 15, 2012

The men and woman in the U.S. military get paid wages that are absurd. The military men and woman and their families sacrifice so much, and ask for so little. Is too much to pay them a salary that actually allows them to be successful and not borderline welfare? How about instead of cutting military funding, make cuts elsewhere. Such as the average congressman pay, the Presidents pay, and government officials in general pay, and give those funds to the hard working men and woman of the United States armed forces. Significantly raise the salary of the enlisted armed forces.
2005 salaries:
Presidents salary: $400,000
Majority and Minority Leader-House and Senate: 180,000
Average salary of junior enlisted member of the armed forces E1-E3: $20,000
Average salary of military family: $40,000
