Pay federal civilian employees weekly, leveraging existing automated systems and weekly timecard policies..

Created by S.P. on March 26, 2014

Currently, federal civilians complete weekly timecards and automated systems calculate and pay these persons every other week.

Current civil service requires the use of direct deposits, so no printing costs exist. This would [theoretically] involve simply initiating the already-in-place systems weekly rather than bi-weekly.

This policy would help prevent civil service employees, especially at the lower end, from being too far away from their money, cutting down on the needs for hawking loans, such as Title loans and Payday loans.
