Our government is full of absurdly rich constituents who leave to go home for a long weekend while there are very important economic deadlines this weekend. This event has happened before, and our legislative branch is underperforming to the point of absurdity. Democrat or Republican, all Americans should be angry with the lack of effort and care demonstrated by our elected officials. They should be compensated based on how well the average american is doing, not on how well the heavily favored upper class and corporate world is dong.
