pay the members of US Congress minimum wage per DC laws, if necessary via executive order.

Created by Y.B. on February 20, 2014

Due to the quality of work done by the average member of US Congress over the last decade, we the people believe they deserve minimum wage.

This will ensure only highly motivated people come to DC to represent their constituencies, and will help ensure they work long hours to get the greatest (per hour) pay.

Free housing allowance could be entertained to help defray the cost of securing decent DC housing for the congresspersons.

A financial aid system for extremely poor members of congress could also be envisioned.
