Pay more money to public workers who could potentially save your life (police, fire, EMS, etc.)

Created by A.E. on February 04, 2014

There are a lot of people with the potential of saving lives that make hardly any money and I believe that needs to change. For example: if you have a heart attack who is going to save you? Either an EMT or a paramedic. If you use drugs or are being abused by your spouse, or maybe had a loved one murdered? A police officer, a sheriff, highway patrol officer and even detectives are there to get you through those issues. How about if your house is on fire? What if your baby is still in there? A fire fighter goes into that house thats lit up in flames as it slowly crashes down to save your baby. Even teachers have to put up with wild kids all day that are more interested in drugs than learning to have a brighter future. My point is, these people do a lot for us and deserve much more.
