Pay no attention to the NRA, and instead seek to pass stringent gun control laws what will confiscate assault weapons.

Petition the President and congress to pass laws forbidding the sale of magazines larger than 5 shots, and assault weapons, and laws for confiscating any assault weapons now present in the population along with stringent character checks of all weapons buyers under all conditions, private and public so that as much as practicable no weapons can be purchased without such a check at any time. Also, we petition the President and Congress to pay no attention to the vile and absurdly dangerous policies of the NRA and the gun lobby which is clearly only interested in making more money by gun sales than in the safety of the population of this country.
