Given the general dissatisfaction with the job performance of members of Congress & Senate; the current national budget crisis; and the financial hardships that many Americans are experiencing, it is time for elected federal officials (POTUS, VPOTUS, Congress members and Senators) to make sacrifices.
This petition proposes that aforementioned elected officials be paid based on the hourly national minimum wage. They are free to vote to raise the national minimum wage, which would apply to all Americans.
